What is the difference between Fit Your Own and Supply & Fit?
Fit Your Own products can be ordered online and are supplied for you to install. Supply & Fit services are quoted individually and include professional installation.
How do I measure my window or door?
Measure the finished flat area you want covered in millimetres. Allow for frames, handles, vision panels, kick plates, mouldings and other fittings. Check your measurements before ordering.
What surfaces are suitable for self-fit graphics?
Use the surfaces specified on the product page. Window products generally need clean, smooth glass; door graphics are best suited to smooth, flat doors. Contact us if you are unsure.
Are door graphics suitable for doors with vision panels or mouldings?
These features make self-fitting more difficult. Confident self-fit customers can still enquire, but complex doors may be better suited to professional Supply & Fit.
What is the difference between cut vinyl and printed graphics?
Cut vinyl provides separate lettering or shapes in a single chosen colour. Printed graphics support full-colour images, logos and branded layouts. Check the individual product for its material and finish.
Can window graphics be fitted to the inside of the glass?
Application depends on the specific product. Fit Your Own Printed Window Graphics and Fit Your Own One-Way Vision Window Graphics are external application only. Only choose inside-facing-out application where the product explicitly offers it.
How does one-way vision film work?
Perforated white film carries the image outside, with a black reverse that helps retain outward visibility from inside. It reduces some light. The effect depends on lighting and is strongest when outside is brighter than inside; at night or with a brightly lit interior it may reduce or reverse.
Do I need to supply artwork?
Artwork upload is optional where offered. Standard opening-hours layouts can be typeset from your supplied details. See our Artwork Requirements and design-help route for branded artwork.
Will I receive a proof?
Custom printed and personalised products receive a digital proof where appropriate before production. Check dimensions, spelling, contact details, image quality, logo placement, colours, panel joins and overall layout before approval.
Do you provide fitting instructions?
Yes, fitting guidance is included with the relevant Fit Your Own products. Follow the instructions for your material and application method.
Can Purple Signs fit the graphics for me?
Yes. See our Professional Supply & Fit services above or contact us to discuss installation.
Where is professional fitting available?
Worthing, West Sussex and surrounding areas. Other locations may be considered depending on the project.
Is delivery included?
Relevant online Business & Window Graphics products include FREE UK DELIVERY where stated and configured. Supply & Fit services are quoted projects; parcel-delivery offers do not apply to them.
Can I collect locally?
Local collection is also available from Purple Signs in Worthing, West Sussex. Please contact us before ordering if you would prefer to collect.
What if my job is larger or unusual?
Please contact sales@purplesigns.co.uk, call 07720 353935 or use Contact Us for advice and a quotation.
