TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from Purple Signs through our website.
By placing an order with Purple Signs, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. ABOUT US
Purple Signs supplies printed signs, banners, vehicle graphics, magnetic signs, display products and related printed and manufactured products.

2. PLACING AN ORDER
When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is complete and accurate.
This includes, where applicable:
• Product choice
• Size
• Quantity
• Material
• Vehicle make and model
• Vehicle year
• Wording and contact details
• Uploaded artwork
• Delivery information
• Any other specifications requested during ordering
Please check your order carefully before completing payment.
Receipt of an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted an order for production.
We may contact you if we need further information, suitable artwork, clarification of specifications or approval of a proof before production can begin.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices shown on our website are the prices payable unless an obvious pricing error has occurred.
Purple Signs is not currently VAT registered and our selling prices do not include an additional VAT charge.
Any applicable delivery charges will be shown during the ordering process before payment is completed.
Payment must be received before production begins unless we have agreed alternative payment arrangements with you.
4. CUSTOM-MADE AND PERSONALISED GOODS
Many Purple Signs products are made, printed, cut or personalised specifically for the customer.
These may include:
• Signs and printed boards
• Banners
• Magnetic vehicle signs
• Vehicle graphics
• Stickers and vinyl graphics
• Products manufactured to customer-specified dimensions
• Products incorporating customer-supplied text, logos or artwork
Once production of a custom-made or personalised product has started, changes or cancellation may not be possible.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

5. ARTWORK SUPPLIED BY THE CUSTOMER
Where you supply your own artwork, you are responsible for checking that it is correct and suitable for the product being ordered.
You should check:
• Spelling
• Telephone numbers
• Email addresses
• Website addresses
• Prices
• Dates
• Dimensions
• Colours
• Logos
• Images
• Layout
• Any other information contained within the artwork
Artwork should comply with our published Artwork Requirements.
Where we reproduce customer-supplied artwork accurately, we cannot normally accept responsibility for errors that were already present in the supplied artwork.
If artwork is unsuitable for production, we may contact you before proceeding.
6. ARTWORK PROOFS AND APPROVAL
Where Purple Signs provides an artwork proof, you must check the proof carefully before approving it.
Approval confirms that you are satisfied with the content and layout shown on the proof and authorises us to proceed to production.
You are responsible for checking all text, spelling, contact information, dimensions and other details before approval.
Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may not be possible and additional work may incur further charges.
If Purple Signs subsequently manufactures the product differently from the approved proof, this section does not limit your statutory rights.
7. ARTWORK DESIGN SERVICE
Where Purple Signs provides an artwork design or preparation service, the scope of the service will be as described at the time of ordering.
Additional design work or substantial changes outside the agreed scope may be chargeable.
We will tell you about any additional charge before carrying out chargeable additional work.
8. CUSTOMER RIGHTS TO ARTWORK
By supplying artwork, logos, photographs, text, trademarks or other content to Purple Signs, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission for us to reproduce that material for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
You remain responsible for ensuring that supplied content does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
We reserve the right to refuse to reproduce material where we reasonably believe that doing so may be unlawful or infringe third-party rights.
9. COLOUR REPRODUCTION
Colours displayed on monitors, phones and tablets may differ from colours produced in print.
Differences can also occur because of printing processes, materials, lighting conditions and the way colours are represented on different devices.
For this reason, an exact colour match to a screen display cannot normally be guaranteed.
If precise colour matching is important, please contact us before placing your order.
Reasonable colour variation is not normally considered a manufacturing fault.
10. PRODUCT SIZES AND TOLERANCES
We aim to manufacture products to the dimensions ordered.
Printed, cut and manufactured products may be subject to small production tolerances.
Where exact dimensions or fitting tolerances are critical, please contact us before ordering so that the requirements can be confirmed.
11. VEHICLE GRAPHICS AND VEHICLE INFORMATION
Where you order vehicle graphics or another vehicle-specific product, you are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information.
This may include the vehicle make, model and year.
Vehicle manufacturers can introduce body shape, trim and panel changes during a model's production period.
If you are uncertain about your vehicle specification, please contact us before ordering.
12. SELF-FIT PRODUCTS
Some products supplied by Purple Signs are intended for installation by the customer.
Where a product is described as self-fit or fit-your-own, the customer is responsible for carrying out the installation correctly and following any instructions supplied.
Successful installation may depend on factors including surface condition, preparation, temperature, positioning and fitting technique.
Purple Signs is not responsible for damage or installation failure caused by incorrect fitting, unsuitable surfaces, inadequate preparation or failure to follow installation instructions.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the supplied product itself is faulty or not as described.
13. PRODUCTION TIMES
Any production or dispatch times shown on our website are estimates unless we specifically agree a guaranteed deadline with you.
Production times normally begin once we have received everything required to produce the order, including where applicable:
• Payment
• Suitable artwork
• Required information
• Artwork approval
If an order is time-sensitive, please contact us before ordering.
14. DELIVERY
Delivery options and charges are shown during checkout where applicable.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
We are not responsible for delays caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery may be carried out by a third-party courier or postal service.

15. DELIVERY DAMAGE
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If your order has been damaged in transit, please contact us promptly and provide photographs of:
• The damaged product
• The outer packaging
• Any damaged internal packaging
Please retain the product and packaging until we have advised you what to do next.
16. FAULTY OR INCORRECT GOODS
If goods are faulty, incorrectly manufactured, not as described or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask for photographs or other information so that we can investigate the issue.
Where appropriate, we will provide a repair, replacement, reprint, refund or other remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights consumers have under applicable UK consumer law.
17. RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Returns and cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Many products supplied by Purple Signs are personalised or made to the customer's specifications and may therefore be excluded from the normal change-of-mind cancellation rights that apply to some distance purchases.
This does not affect your rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.
18. WEBSITE INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices on our website are accurate.
Occasionally errors may occur.
If we discover a significant error affecting your order before production begins, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to proceed with the corrected information or cancel the affected order.
19. AVAILABILITY
Products, materials and components are subject to availability.
If a material or product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you.
Where appropriate, we may offer a suitable alternative.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
20. REFUSAL OR CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
We may refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where:
• Payment has not been received
• The product is unavailable
• We cannot obtain the information required to manufacture the product
• Supplied artwork is unsuitable
• The order contains an obvious pricing or description error
• We reasonably believe the requested material may be unlawful
• We are unable to fulfil the order
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken and no goods or services have been supplied, we will refund the appropriate amount.
21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights.
Purple Signs will not be responsible for losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control.
For business customers, we will not normally be responsible for indirect or consequential business losses such as loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of anticipated savings, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
22. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for the purposes of a trade, business, craft or profession, you may be treated as a business customer rather than a consumer.
Certain consumer rights and cancellation provisions may therefore not apply.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
23. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Examples may include:
• Courier disruption
• Postal disruption
• Severe weather
• Fire or flood
• Power or telecommunications failure
• Machinery breakdown
• Supply chain disruption
• Industrial action
• Government restrictions
• Other events that could not reasonably have been avoided
If an event outside our control materially affects your order, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The Terms that apply to your purchase will normally be those in effect when you placed your order.
25. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
